It is misleading to think CAM and indeed Reconnective Healing is not based upon scientific research, fact is there are plenty of research journals, scientific papers and books available on these subjects – in particular in relation to Dr.Eric Pearl’s amazing work, many scientists now authenticate Reconnective Healing ®.

Of particular interest is the effect Reconnective Healing ® has on water - during an experiment conducted by Dr. Gary Schwartz / Dr. Korotkov it was discovered how the properties changed in water under the influence of Reconnective Healing ®, compared to a control experiment, where no effects at all were detected. Considering the average human body is made of 70-80% water, it may tell us about the mechanism of Reconnective Healing ® influence on body physiology.
Further study of the body’s energy changes in non-touch energy healing has also been undertaken by CIHS - California Institute for Human Science.
The aim of this research was to study the body’s energy changes in non-touch energy healing with the purpose of determining if Reconnective Healing ® could induce changes to the Qi-energy levels in the body, and if detectable, establish the characteristics of those changes in the context of the healing provided.
In this research/study, a 74-year-old male was the subject with the following symptoms/condition:

After cardiac surgery, the subject became emaciated and unable to walk.

At the time of this study, the subject undertook a rehabilitation program but was still unable to walk.

As a result of the above conditions, the subject required a walking frame when on foot.
-
At the time of this study, the subject was also diagnosed with a benign tumor.
The subject received three healing sessions - during the study/research an AMI (Apparatus for Meridian Identification) was used, the SSVP (Single Square Voltage Pulse) was measured before and after each session. The SSVP can measure the Qi-energies of the human body. The Qi-energy measures prior to the healing sessions were profound – a large Qi-energy imbalance was visible between the lower and upper part of the body, possibly reflecting the condition/symptoms of the subject as highlighted above.
After three healing sessions, the Qi-energy imbalance was reduced. In particular, there was a notable improvement - suggesting that a redistribution of the body’s Qi-energy field supplied to the lower body became substantially more active than that in the upper body. Indeed, such a reversal of the lower/upper ratio is very unusual. The research also highlights that the overall Qi-energy pattern of the subjects meridian system clearly improved after three Reconnective Healing® sessions. Moreover, it should also be noticed, that although it was outside the scope of this particular study to find out if Reconnective Healing cured the subject's condition, the subject actually stood up after the healing without the aid of a walking frame and started walking unaided.
